Acupuncture

Acupuncture has been shown in medical studies by institutes such as the World Health Organization (WHO) and the National Institute (NIH) to provide alleviation of health problems. Acupuncture is part of an ancient healing system which developed over a period of at least 5000 years.  This system is referred to as Chinese Medicine or Oriental Medicine. In this holistic system the individual's emotions, diet, habits and environment are taken into consideration along with signs and symptoms.  It is now used by millions of people in almost every country in the world.

Allergy Elimination

Allergy Elimination There are two main methods for treating allergies at the Acupuncture Wellness Center. One way is with Traditional Chinese Medicine, using acupuncture or acupressure and herbs. Nutrition can also be a factor that is looked at. Allergy Elimination is a specific method using Muscle Testing or Kinesiology to assess the patient’s reaction to various substances and then a combination of acupressure, EFT, and Acupuncture to clear the person’s reaction to the allergen. This method follows the principles of homeopathy.  The treatment is done while the person holds a vial containing the substance or “essence” of the substance. Sometimes this method is called Allergy Deprogramming. It can be done without the acupuncture for those who do not wish to have needles.  This method can be used for airborne, food, or chemical allergies. In some cases, an allergy can be eliminated in a single session. A more severe allergy may take several sessions.

Hot Stone Massage

This therapy utilizes hot basalt smooth stones to provide muscle relaxing heat for ultimate relaxation use during this essential massage.

Chair Massage

Chair Massage is done in an ergonomically designed portable chair.[4] Chair massage focuses on the head, neck, shoulders, back, arms and hands. Massage therapists are able to offer on-site massage to many environments because of the portability of the massage chair, and clients do not need to disrobe to receive a chair massage. Due to these two factors, chair massage is often performed in settings such as business offices, employee appreciation events, trade shows, conferences, and other private parties and events.

Myofascial Release & Lymphatic Drainage

Myofascial Release or MFR is a type of therapeutic bodywork that is aimed at the treatment of muscular pain and restricted range of motion due to contracted muscles and their associated tissues. This therapy helps to relax the constricted muscles, improves circulation, and increases muscle and tendon flexibility.

Lymphatic Drainage

The lymphatic system is part of the circulatory system and is an important component of the immune system.  It consists of lymph nodes and a complex system of vessels that carry waste and toxins out of the body tissues. Lymphatic drainage is a gentle and very specific massage aimed at pushing lymphatic fluid along it’s pathway to reduce swelling and assist the body in processing excess fluids and toxins out.

Myoskeletal Alignment

Myoskeletal Alignment Therapy (MAT) is a methodical, well-planned, deep tissue massage that aims to create muscular balance for optimal movement in the body.
